Weekly Update 1/6/2020

Celebrating athletic achievements that better ourselves, our teammates, and our community.

Updates;

With team registration in full swing, we added a lot of new members to the team. Please welcome these folks, and introduce yourself if you see them at a race or training event.

Keaton Garrett is creating a 2019 recap video, so keep an eye out for that soon. It's always really cool to see what we all accomplished over the year.

With a new year and a bunch of new members, it bears reminding everyone to report your race results ( podiums, PR's, major accomplishments) to me here; longjohnh@swbell.net and get your photos from events wearing SBC gear to Michelle Rador so she can post them to the team's Facebook and Instagram pages. SBC gear can be bought at Bicycle Outlet.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Custom Events & Curated Experiences at Missouri Spirits House
New for 2020 the tasting room transitions exclusively to a special event venue

(SPRINGFIELD, MO – Jan 1, 2020) Over the past five years, Missouri Spirits House has become a fixture in Springfield’s downtown scene. In the new year, the business will adapt to it’s customers requests with a refined focus on special events.

“We’ve said for years that our story begins with you, and that we wanted our location to be a place for people to call their own. We’re taking that to the next level,” said Scott Shotts, Missouri Spirits House founder. “What customers have come to love most about our venue in downtown Springfield is the rustic but refined atmosphere that it creates for their special events, and in the new year, we’re listening to our customers and giving them what they’ve been asking for.”

Beginning in 2020, Missouri Spirits House will become exclusively available as a location to host parties, wedding receptions, fundraising events, networking events, corporate and sales meetings – any unique gathering where the guest wants the unique atmosphere that only the Missouri Spirits House can offer.

The venue is ideal for groups of 20 - 100 where guests want excellent ambiance, and where food, drink, great service are turn-key and at the ready.

“We are so grateful to all of our customers who have become friends over the past five years,” says Shotts. “More than that, we are excited to continue serving them in the way that we’re hearing they most appreciate. Today, people want to throw their own parties, so they get to decide who’s in the room, what’s on the menu, what music is playing – we’re giving that control to our customers, so they can choose their own adventure and make our place theirs for the night.”

The custom, hand-crafted cocktails that Missouri Spirits House has become known for will continue to be offered, and a new menu is in the works to support customer’s needs as they craft their events at the venue. What isn’t changing is what Missouri Sprits was founded on: Self reliance and ingenuity you can taste. Fans will continue to find Missouri Spirits on the shelves of local liquor retailers, and as the preferred spirit of bars and restaurants across the region.

For people planning events, the calendar is filling now for 2020. Contact info@missourisprits.com to secure the date for your curated experience at Springfield’s only Spirits House.

We’re Springfield’s first and only spirit house. And this is not a position we take lightly. Each spirit is meticulously crafted to be a celebration of Missouri. From Midwest-grown ingredients to locally-made barrels, we pour some of what we call home into each batch. Missouri Spirits is a place for local spirit drinkers to call their own. As a young and growing spirit house, our story begins with you.
