Hearing more than rumors that a local favorite on the Triathlon circuit is making a comeback- Concreteman if you hadn't guessed. A local Oly (and sprint) distance race back in town. Good news for our triathlete community. Rachel Baker knocked out hundo #6 with some SBCA team mates as support. Group rides are now back in full swing. Check the SBCA Events on Facebook for more information. Who says running isn't a team sport? Race results below. We'll be opening the kit store again in May if need or want any SBCA kit or accessories.

A handful of folks braved the elements for MidSouth MO hosted by Sunshine Bike Shop. This was a socially distanced event directly related to MidSouth Gravel (Formerly LandRun). Tough conditions even for gritty gravel riders. We also had several folks take part in the Shamrox 5k/10k run. Congrats to all of you who got out in the rain and cold to represent the brand.

Weekly Update 3/8/2021

Celebrating athletic achievement that betters ourselves, our teammates and our community.

A fantastic weekend just passed. I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the much deserved warmth and sunshine. In case you missed it, yesterday was the soft open and cleanup day at the much anticipated Fellows Lake trail. A handful of team members were there to aid in cleaning up the area and enjoy some riding and hiking this new gem of a trail. Hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers will all find something to love here, with more goodness to come. Normally this time of year, many of our gravel racing members would be anticipating the trek to Stillwater for MidSouth Gravel (formerly LandRun100). This year that event is now a socially distanced with a free local version. Information here- Midsouth Missouri

We are no longer seeking a yoga instructor. Look for information soon on yoga classes at the mothership

Reiterating; Stephanie has opened a channel on Slack for anyone interested in the team CO trip scheduled for this summer. Search the Channel Browser in the side bar for # sbca-colorado-trip. This will be a great opportunity to travel to a beautiful area. This is THE place for updates and information on this fantastic and unique opportunity. If you've never been to the Summit County/ Dillon Reservoir area, you will not regret going.

Weekly Update 3/1/2021

Celebrating athletic achievement that betters ourselves, our teammates and our community.

Several folks got out Saturday for the Annual Paul Hardin Ride. The weather being what it was and surviving the Winter of Covid, few opted for the full 200k, but a few intrepid souls completed the round trip. A few other ride and mileage options (with and without pie) were enjoyed by others.

Speaking of Paul, his SBC mug number was retired after his untimely death. His mug is available for use by any SBC member. Save yourself a little coin if you're visiting the mother ship, in Paul's memory.

Team member and Ultra-runner Gary Shaw is playing race director for this upcoming event. It's a unique last man standing race. Click Here for more details.
