Weekly Update 3/1/2021

Celebrating athletic achievement that betters ourselves, our teammates and our community.

Several folks got out Saturday for the Annual Paul Hardin Ride. The weather being what it was and surviving the Winter of Covid, few opted for the full 200k, but a few intrepid souls completed the round trip. A few other ride and mileage options (with and without pie) were enjoyed by others.

Speaking of Paul, his SBC mug number was retired after his untimely death. His mug is available for use by any SBC member. Save yourself a little coin if you're visiting the mother ship, in Paul's memory.

Team member and Ultra-runner Gary Shaw is playing race director for this upcoming event. It's a unique last man standing race. Click Here for more details.

Stephanie has opened a channel on Slack for anyone interested in the team CO trip scheduled for this summer. Search the Channel Browser in the side bar for # sbca-colorado-trip. This will be a great opportunity to travel to a beautiful area.

Continuing items of importance;

We are looking for a team member who is a yoga instructor. The intent is to create a yoga and beer class to be held at SBC.

Look for the Classic Beer Mile on the regular. It will be coming up every 3rd Saturday of the month. The next one will be March 20th. Tell your beer drinking/running friends. Also look for new and better prizes! Information below in "Upcoming".

Are you and a bunch of teammates headed to a big event? An Ultra, a big gravel race, triathlon or volunteering for a trail workday? Wouldn't some SBC beer afterwards be refreshing? Would you like to take along some SBC Brews to share? Contact Neil. He will hook you up.

Join SLACK . It really is the best way to keep in touch with teammates and to coordinate group activities.

SBC Bar tape is finally in and available again. If you ordered a set, you can pick it up at the front desk at SGB- $25 cash only.

If you would like commemorative brick to celebrate an athletic milestone, get in touch with Neil. These are really cool and stand as a lasting reminder of your epic achievement.

Curious about upcoming events- be sure to regularly check the SBC Calendar
